For nearly two decades Estia has provided a forum for showcasing and sharing the rich Hellenic-Australian culture, heritage and tradition with the broader community while fostering racial harmony, tolerance and cultural diversity.

This is achieved through the presentation of cultural events such as theatrical performances, concerts, lectures, art & craft exhibitions, fashion parades, traditional dance performance, live musical entertainment and a street fair.

The festival is held under the auspices of the Greek community of Tasmania.
